Mosaics are made of fragments, broken off pieces, found pieces, segments, remnants, shards, all separated and divided from their source. A mosaic takes what appears separate and broken and brings it together unifying it and giving it presence. It is a metaphor for recognizing how often we cut ourselves off from our core, how separated we feel when we do. Through this process you metaphorically reclaim your wholeness.
- Class 1: Archetypal energy abounds. You reflect it, mirror it, use it. This class encourages visual expression of an energy form. ( a great follow up to Archetypal work )
- Class 2: Dreams or imagination bring forth images as a way to reach our conscious awareness. The difference between the waking dream and the dream of sleep is there is no ego in the sleep dream and nothing is impossible. Bring your big-dream into 3-D using found materials.
- Class 3: Free Flow through the imagination using color as your inspiration. Or bring something you would like to mosaic, a pot, a vase, a picture frame.
Each class is three hours. Dates to be announced. Materials furnished. Cost per class $95.
Limited number, please register in advance.
